I was born in the late 1960s in beautiful Salzburg, Austria. My father introduced me to yoga during adolescence, and my fascination with it has never faded. I began teaching yoga in 1990, both in my own studios and at the University’s Sports Institute in Vienna.
Alongside my yoga journey, I studied psychology and worked as a psychotherapist in Vienna for many years. Naturally, the perspective of Western psychology influenced my approach to yoga—and vice versa. As a result, I seamlessly integrate Eastern and Western wisdom, tradition and modernity, rationality and emotion, and many other polarities into my yoga practice.
Today, I live on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, where I established a small retreat center that evolved during the pandemic.
While I still offer some retreats, my main focus is now on hybrid yoga courses that support practitioners year-round in integrating yoga as a lifestyle. Through regular home practice, breathwork, philosophy, meditation, mindset, nutrition, and yogic lifestyle guidance, I help them weave yoga into every facet of their lives.
